In 1977, the Dishes appeared in the Punk 'Til You Puke issue of General Idea's FILE Megazine in a tele-roman-style spoof of I Love Lucy. Titled I Love Lucasta, it featured the B-Girls' Lucasta Rochas, David Buchan and Anya Varda, and was imagined by Steven Davey, staged by David Buchan and photographed by Jeremiah Chechik.
